Finnish police to file lawsuit to ban far-right group

MONROEVILLE, Alabama – A 14-year-old girl told reporters that she and her 14-year-old classmate planned to have consensual sex with Steven Scott, 20, DeShon Riley, 16, and Justin Williams, 17. Once the group arrived at a home, one of the girls got cold feet. So the men allegedly took turns raping her. “The victim told police that the attack did begin as consensual contact,” Monroe County District Attorney Tommy Chapman told the Press-Register.” But when all three suspects began to join in, she told them no repeatedly, but they did not stop.” After raping her, the men took her back to school where she sat in bloody clothes for hours until school officials called police. The girl required surgery and was in intensive care for three days. Now it is being reported that the other 14-year-old girl, who was dating one of the attackers, may be charged as an accomplice having possibly helped in setting up the gang rape. […]

Well that age-old adage couldn’t be any more true when speaking about Tommie Lee Johnson Jr., 39, and what he did the other day after an argument with the mother of his child on Sunday. After the altercation, Johnson left the home with 2-year-old Ashonti and her 8-month-old brother, Tommie Johnson, III. The mother called police. Police found Johnson a few hours later, but he did not have the children with him nor was he telling police where they were. On Monday morning, an employee of Felty Electric heard some crying outside their business and went to investigate. To his surprise, he found Ashonti and Tommie in their trash can covered in filth where they had been for almost 13 hours.

Finkelstein’s attorney, William J. Brennan, said what happened was not a crime. “She was looking for tickets, not sex,” calling Finkelstein a “live-and-die Phillies fan” who simply wanted tickets for herself and her husband. Which she ended up getting from Wired 96.5 radio station. They gave two tickets to Finkelstein and her husband for Game 3 in Philadelphia. Austrian chancellor calls for new solutions to tackle unemployment

Prosecutors have twice since attempted to revoke Wooddell’s bond since the initial arrest (link to motion here). The first time was for sending threatening text messages to his former supervisor, Sgt. Ryan Hyatt, a witness in the theft case. I strongly recommend taking a gander at the motion link as it contains screenshots of the puerile, linguistically abhorrent exchange. The second time was in May, when officials learned that Wooddell had left the scene of a February automobile accident that occurred while he was on his way to a formal arraignment. No one was injured in the crash, but Wooddell failed to report it for fear of being late.So how do I feel? Fortunate. My wife and I worked hard to get the word out about Daemon, but I never forget that my early readers are the reason I got the book deal with Dutton.
